Botanical Aviary

Fill your space with these beautiful birds!
This patchwork quilt for the botanical aviary depicts 10 different birds (10 quilt blocks, each in 6 sizes),
embroidered in realistic color palettes over branded patchwork blocks of folded fabric
In this collection, traditional borders are made in a funny style: the digitization of each bird is superimposed on the fabric of the border.
The end result is that each bird and branch combination peeks out from behind the folds, creating an almost realistic effect!

To make things even more interesting, the background fabric for each block was cut from the same fabric roll,
at the same time, various sections, or “fancy cut”, were selectively selected as the main print behind each bird.
