Attention, you can get autumn leaves that twinkle and sparkle-all without the use of metallic thread. According to the author's idea, the creative digitization of these leaves and the metallic nature of the Mylar fabric shows the effect of Shine through the embroidery stitches. The fine artistic detailing of the leaves adds texture and interesting effect.

Just like an automatic applique, the first color stitched gives you an outline where to place the Mylar tissue. Continuing with the next color, the Mylar fabric is embroidered in place and outlined; remove excess fabric by simply tearing the Mylar along the contour.  The remaining colors add subtle accents as well as veins and stem details. The collection includes 30 embroidery designs of richly colored autumn leaves in a variety of species including oak, maple, birch, ash, aspen and other autumn favorites.
