Snowy Confetti Quilt

To create the look of falling snow in each of these unique 20 blanket blocks, we used a fun paper punch in the shape of a snowflake to make nifty pieces of snow confetti. Once all the steps of applique and embroidery under the organza are completed, you can sprinkle small snowflakes on the surface of each blanket block. You can always use other materials for your snowflakes, such as thin gauge vinyl, to ensure that they will withstand washing and cleaning!

A layer of sheer organza not only gives these quilted blocks an icy finish, but also helps keep all the pieces of snow confetti in place in your blocks. Detailed stitches on the top of the organza accentuate the shape of the appliques at the bottom, creating the perfect winter Wonderland.
