Forever Fierce

Inspired by works of art depicting women from different parts of Africa, twelve beautiful portraits have been translated into stitches. Each of the included designs has an applique as well as embroidery and comes in several sizes to give you different use cases.

Rich plain plain fabrics, accentuated with subtle touches, create the faces of each lady. The textured fabric adds size and volume to the hair, and various batik fabrics are selected for additional visual effect. Experimenting with traditional and modern colors, prints as well as plain fabrics were used to create a visual interest in the applications of each design. Black threads are used to highlight these bold solutions to give each design a unified and smooth look.
